Q. When I join, what info do you need, is it private?A. When you join Tea Course, you will first be asked to choose a nickname for yourself. For anything you participate in - forums, blogs, etc. - your nickname will be listed next to the posting. NOTE: Your nickname CANNOT be modified. So choose wisely. (Suggestions are your first name and last initial, or your full name with no spaces, or a nickname you use frequently in other group message boards, or a nickname that relates to your business, etc.)
Your real name will be next to your nickname in your member profile. If members search to find other members, they will see your real name and information about yourself that you have personally entered into your profile, photo, etc.
Your address, phone number, email address, answers to questions upon membership application, etc. are for Admin information only and will not appear to other members.
If other members wish to contact you, they can click on private messaging and send a message via your name or nickname and it will be sent privately with no mention of either member's email addresses. To reply to a private message, you would need to go into Tea Course to find the member and send a private message back. OR if a member has chosen to do so, the information in their profile or member web page may include other contact details open to the public.
