The 'Nilgiri Winter' is here!  The air is cold and crisp and on the odd night the frost has started settling in on the bushes.  The sky has taken on it's winter avatar - a wonderfully deep purplish-blue hue.

Growth on the bushes has slowed down considerably with only the odd flush popping up over the plucking table.

In short, that time of the year which we tea folk in the Nilgiris eagerly look forward.  Understandably so since it is during this 6-8 spell that nature does her extra bit, helping us to produce teas which are a class apart.

This year around, we are offering Nilgiri Winter Teas from the following quality marks:
Korakundah - Organic, Fair Trade and Rain Forest Alliance Certified.
Parkside       - Rain Forest Alliance Certified.
Coonoor       - Rain Forest Alliance Certified.
Chamraj       - Rain Forest Alliance Certified.

Since the manufacture of our Winter Teas requires advance planning and plenty of special attention, these are produced only against specific and confirmed orders.  There being a 'natural' limitation on how much can be produced during this short spell, orders for these teas are booked on a 'first come, first served' basis.

Besides booking orders, please feel free to contact me for any specific information on these teas.  (See member profile for IndiKhanna or visit www.teanteas.com)
